Gas prices reduced – new prices come into immediate effect

Issuing a media release, the Ministry of Finance says that as per the provision made in the Budget 2016, presented by the Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, gas prices have been reduced with effect from Monday, November 23.
Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder will be Rs 1346.00 within the Colombo area.
Prices of a five kg and a 2.5 kg cylinder will be Rs 572.00 and Rs 273.00 respectively.
