Kandy City Development Projects decision

Ministers representing the Kandy District have decided to review the progress of the Kandy City Development Projects regularly in Parliament and the officials of the relevant institutions were instructed to provide the plans and data of the on-going projects to be implemented with the assistance of foreign funds.
This decision has been taken at a meeting held in Parliament convened by City Planning and Water Supply Minister Hon. Rauff Hakeem, on Thursday (26th).
Ministers Lakshman Kiriella, Malik Samarawickrema, Sarath Amunugama, A.H.A.Haleem, and representatives of Urban Development Authority, Board of Investment, National Water Supply and Drainage Board, Road Development Authority, External Resources Department and other relevant stake-holders participated at the discussion.
