Police Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said further legal action would be taken in Court at respective areas against drivers and motorists who had violated the lane regulations.
The Police today implemented the traffic lane law especially along the Sri Jayewardenepura Road
from Jayanthipura to Colombo.
ASP Gunasekara said Police officers had been deployed to oversee the new regulation and that drivers followed the rule.
