Bodies wash ashore off Trincomalee: Navy launches search operation

A search operation has been commenced by the Sri Lanka Navy owing to reports of several bodies were floating in the seas off Trincomalee, the Navy Spokesman said.

The navy has dispatched two patrolling vessels for the search operation, he added.

The search operation was launched following a tipoff received by the Trincomalee harbor police, a short while ago, according to the Navy.
