HIV testing for A/L, university students

A proposal to test all university students and A/L students for HIV was made by Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne in parliament today.

Speaking in parliament, the Minister also proposed that Health Science be made a compulsory subject for O/L students.

Students wishing to continue on to the Advanced Level will have to pass the Health Science subject, the Minster said.
