The Bakery Owners Association has announced a decision to increase
the price of a loaf of bread by Rs. 1 with effect from midnight on
Wednesday Jan. 13, 2016.Chairman of the Association N.K. Jayawardena said that the price was increased after the members of the association met Tuesday evening.
Accordingly, the price of a loaf of bread will go from Rs. 54 to Rs. 55.
